Last weekend I visited the Solar Decathlon in on the National’s Mall in D.C. Worldwide, universities compete for the most innovative solar spec home. Then show ‘em off for us!

Those holes aren’t just decorative. They position themselves to how the wind blows, capturing wind energy.

Spain’s house is pretty stylin’.

This is the kitchen of the Penn State U house. How cool is that? Wouldn’t be fantastic to have herbs as your backsplash?
