I know, I know, quit posting about cute animals! — well, I’ll stop for a bit after this post, I promise.

Awhile back my friend and I were browsing at a bookstore and we came across this book, Little Felted Animals by Marie-Noelle Horvath where for a good 20 seconds or so, I thought the kitten on the front was real! It was created by a process called needle-felting.

Felt3ms1Felt4The best part is that she teaches you in the book how to make your own animal character. I never really knew of this process before so it not only amazed me but surprised me how many others are doing this process so beautifully!

I wish there were more photos to show you because her book is absolutely beautiful with theĀ  characters + photography so go find it in the bookstore or buy it online and take a look yourself.

Wow Your mom, my daughter Kate and I and a few others learned about felting at Portia a couple weekends ago. Not sure we are up to this stage! But it was fun!
