Bear sightings in Shenandoah

21Jun

I was one Happy Camper this weekend at Shenandoah National Park. Want to know why? Not only did my family and I did some great hiking with gorgeous vistas, we saw bears! And not just one, four! And not just adults but two cubs!Happy-camper-bear

Bears eat berries ;) Wow … you saw bears! That’s incredible. The cub is looking right at you. Wow. Your photos are amazing. The orchid is gorgeous. Looks like you had a wonderful weekend with your family.

Laura, I spent a couple hours with your mom on Monday night and she was telling me about your wonderful weekend. It was so good that you could all make it happen as she was quite happy, though a bit wistful- last vacation with just the four of you and all that.
I can’t believe you got that close to the bears, espcially a mom and her cubs!
    And your photos were great!
I got to see your yellow silk dress for Sarah’s wedding- absolutely perfect- I can picture you in it!

    See you soon! maryann
