Dressy Dressy

I have many weddings this summer (7!) to attend and I’m starting to look for some fun dresses to wear. Where do YOU like to shop for interesting, beautiful dresses? Anthropologie is a classic favorite but they don’t have their spring collection out yet.
This dress would be beautiful if it wasn’t… pink. Sorry, not a pink fan. But if it was a champagne/grey color, now you’re talking.
And this one from ModCloth would be so fun except I think black is too harsh for a summer wedding…
Also from ModCloth is this dress which is beautiful and could be a contender — I’d feel like a wave wearing it!
Hm… maybe I just need to be patient for the Spring collections … it’s slim pickings right now. :)

Early Spring

Mad about handbags

Even though holding a clutch is not very practical for me, I LOVE these clutches from Mad Imports. They’re hand-woven from sustainable goods and are fair-traded from Madagascar.

I just found my new favorite clothing line: Spool No.72 (found via unruly things). Designing from nature, Native American and the classic old west, Spool No. 72 just has that casual yet stylistic and cultural motif references which I love.
And the photography is delicious gorgeous!
Also, their blog has clothing/jewelry updates + beautiful photography.
Knits for kicks

I do enjoy knitting in the wintertime although I need to start learning how to knit in a curved/round fashion. Right now I can only knit straight things. That leaves to me scarves.
Anyway, once I do graduate from knitting 101 at some point, I’d love to start making these fun designs:
