When the World Cup comes around, I get excited. Not really because of my soccer playing stint in my youth, but because it’s like the Olympics: Everyone around the world coming together — all on an equal playing field.
When I saw this PR kit designed by w+k studio, I was blown away. It’s Nike’s new “Write the Future” campaign:
It includes crayons that were individually carved into 6 World Cup star players.

Yulia Brodskaya, artist and illustrator, loves typography and paper and her brilliant designs encompass both. The detail of the paper structure with the rainbow of colors must be so labor intensive but I’m sure satisfying as well with these as end products:
I just love the texture and flow of these pieces. She made something seem so modern and graphic with a material so basic.
